Instagram Reels Downloader
Save public Reels and video posts as MP4, or pull the audio as MP3. No popups, no login.
Supported inputs and outputs
Paste a public Reel link (instagram.com/reel/CODE), a video post link (instagram.com/p/CODE), or a TV/video link (instagram.com/tv/CODE) — all three are treated the same way. Photo-only carousels have no video track to extract, so pasting one produces no video output; if a carousel mixes photos and one video slide, results depend on which slide the link actually points at.
Video output
MP4 using a genuine resolution reported for that post. The selected resolution is a ceiling for download selection; NoBsDL does not upscale media.
Audio output
128, 256, and 320 kbps MP3 choices when the extracted media actually contains an audio track.
Why Instagram quality varies more than YouTube
Instagram's delivery network determines which source resolutions are available for each post, and those heights do not follow a fixed minimum ladder. NoBsDL lists usable, genuine heights from the extracted inventory. A chosen height acts as the download ceiling, so the downloader may select a compatible source at or below it; no upscaling happens on NoBsDL's side.
How it works
- Open the Reel or post and tap the share icon → Copy Link.
- Paste it above and select Extract Formats.
- Choose an available MP4 or MP3 option.
- The file downloads directly — nothing stays on NoBsDL's servers.
What this page can't do
- Private-account content — a public post is required; NoBsDL doesn't use a logged-in, approved-follower session.
- Stories or Story highlights — these expire and are delivered differently from Reels/posts, and aren't supported here.
- Photo-only carousel posts (no video track exists to save).
- Multiple posts at once — one link per download.
- Deleted, archived, or removed posts — once Instagram stops serving a post, the link has nothing left to extract.
Copying the link on Android and iPhone
Open the Reel or post in the Instagram app, tap the paper-plane Share icon (or the "···" menu), then choose "Copy Link." That gives you an instagram.com/reel/... or instagram.com/p/... URL you can paste directly into the field above — the workflow is identical on Android and iPhone. If you opened the post inside another app's in-app browser (for example, from a messaging app), copying the address bar URL works the same way as long as it's the actual instagram.com link and not a redirect shortener.
Troubleshooting
"Could not read this link"
Confirm the account is public and the post opens without requiring a login prompt.
No MP3 options appear
The extracted media has no audio track. This page does not create MP3 choices for silent media.
Video resolution looks lower than expected
Instagram chooses which source heights are available. The selected height is a download ceiling, and NoBsDL does not upscale the result.
The link opens a login page instead of the post
That usually means the account switched to private after the link was shared, or Instagram is showing a login wall to your specific browser/session — the account's actual privacy setting is what determines whether extraction can work.
Privacy & temporary files
No account is required and downloaded media is not retained after processing — files are automatically deleted from our servers within about an hour of processing, though some delivery paths extend this slightly to keep a download link valid. Standard operational logs (page requests, download counts by format) are kept to run the service, separate from the media file itself. See the Privacy Policy.
