What YouTube links work
Paste a standard youtube.com/watch link or a shortened youtu.be link. A YouTube Short's link works too — you'll get the Short as MP4. Playlist links (...&list=) aren't handled here; use the playlist tool instead, since selecting and downloading multiple videos is a different workflow.
Resolution and quality
NoBsDL shows the actual resolutions YouTube's source offers for that specific video. Free access covers resolutions up to 1080p; Supporter access can unlock higher resolutions like 1440p or 4K, but only when the source video actually has them available — neither tier invents quality that isn't in the source. Video and audio are often stored as separate streams on YouTube's side, and NoBsDL merges them into one file behind the scenes so you don't have to think about it.

Downloading a single video doesn't need an account. Free access covers resolutions up to 1080p and files up to a size ceiling; Supporter access raises both where the source supports it.
Live videos
Active live broadcasts are only handled in a narrow set of conditions and are not guaranteed to work. Videos that have already finished (including a live broadcast's replay) are generally treated like any other video, subject to the source actually being available.
