Supported inputs and outputs

Paste a direct facebook.com link to an accessible public video post, facebook.com/watch/?v=ID video, Reel, or individual public Group post. Mobile m.facebook.com variants are accepted. Short fb.watch redirect links are not accepted; open the link and copy its final facebook.com address instead.

Video output

MP4 choices are drawn only from genuine usable stream heights found for that post. A selected height is a ceiling rather than a promise of one exact source stream.

Audio output

MP3 is offered only when extraction finds a real audio track. Silent Reels and videos show a clear no-audio state.

Why Facebook links fail more often than other platforms

Facebook's sharing links frequently route through a redirect (especially links copied from the mobile app, or links that have passed through a URL shortener) before landing on the actual video page — and that final page's privacy setting is what actually determines whether extraction can work, regardless of how public the link looks. A link can appear shareable while still requiring a Facebook login to view the underlying post, which is the single most common reason a Facebook link fails here when the same link "works" when opened directly in the Facebook app (where you're already logged in).

How it works

  1. Open the video on Facebook and copy its direct facebook.com link.
  2. Paste it above and select Extract Formats.
  3. Choose MP4 or MP3.
  4. The file downloads directly to your device.

What this page can't do

Troubleshooting

"Could not read this link"

Open the video in a private/incognito browser window first — if it asks you to log in, its privacy setting isn't Public and it can't be processed.

Mobile link doesn't work

The Facebook app sometimes generates a share link that redirects through a login wall on some networks — try copying the link directly from the browser's address bar instead.

The link works in the app but not here

The app shows the video because you're logged in on that device. This tool has no logged-in session, so it can only see what the post's actual public privacy setting allows.

Privacy & temporary files

No account is required and downloaded videos are not retained after processing — files are automatically deleted from our servers within about an hour of processing, though some delivery paths extend this slightly to keep a download link valid. See the Privacy Policy.

The page lists a small set of genuine stream heights found for that post. The selected height is a download ceiling, so source-side fallback can choose another stream at or below it.
Only if the group and the specific post are public and viewable without logging in. Closed or private group videos cannot be processed.
Yes, with fair-use limits. Supporters get larger downloads and priority processing.
Yes — facebook.com/reel/ links are treated the same as a regular public video post link.
The app shows the video because you're already logged in on that device. This tool has no logged-in session, so extraction only works if the post's actual privacy setting is Public.
