How to download a video from a link on Android
No app needed. Chrome saves the file to your Downloads folder, where your gallery and music apps can find it.
Short version: copy the video link, paste it on NoBsDL in Chrome, pick a quality. The file goes to Downloads.
Step by step
- Copy the video linkIn YouTube, TikTok or Instagram tap Share → Copy link. In a browser, copy the address bar.
- Paste it on NoBsDLTap the Paste button or long-press the link field. Chrome may ask once for permission to read the clipboard.
- Pick MP4 or MP3Choose a resolution or a bitrate. Keep the tab open while the file is prepared.
- Open itChrome shows a download notification. Tap it to open the file.
Where the file goes
Downloads folder
Open your Files app (for example Files by Google or My Files on Samsung) and go to Downloads.
From Chrome
Chrome menu (⋮) → Downloads lists everything Chrome has saved.
Videos in your gallery
Gallery apps usually show a Download album. In Google Photos, look in Library under the Download folder.
MP3 files
Music players that scan your phone's storage pick up MP3s from the Download folder.
If something doesn't work
- No Paste button? Long-press the link field and choose Paste.
- Download doesn't appear? Keep the tab open until it starts, then check Chrome → Downloads and your free storage.
- "Could not read this link"? The video may be private, deleted or login-only. See why a video link won't download.
- File too big for Free? Pick a lower resolution, or MP3 at 128 kbps.

Do I need an app to download videos on Android?
No. NoBsDL works in Chrome, Samsung Internet and other mobile browsers. Nothing to install, no account.
Where do downloaded videos go on Android?
Into the Download folder on your phone. Open it from your Files app, or from Chrome's menu → Downloads.
Why isn't the video in my gallery?
Some gallery apps only show the camera folder by default. Look for a Download album, or in Google Photos open Library and the Download folder.
Can I download MP3 on Android?
Yes. Pick an MP3 bitrate (128, 256 or 320 kbps) and the file is saved to Downloads like a video.
Is it free?
Yes. Free video files can be up to 500MB and MP3 files up to 100MB. Supporter access raises that to 2GB.
