What NoBsDL collects, why, how long it's kept, and your options.

What we collect
To look up a link and deliver your file, NoBsDL processes the link you submit and the resulting media temporarily. We also collect basic, aggregate operational analytics (things like page views and general traffic patterns) to understand how the service is used. We do not collect your email address for a normal, free download.
Email and Supporter access
Your email address is only stored if you explicitly opt in to marketing or product updates — and even then, that opt-in field is the only place it's kept as plain text. Any access token or activation key used for paid Supporter access is stored only as a one-way hash, never in plain text.
How long files are kept
Processed files are automatically deleted from our servers after a short retention window — typically within about an hour of processing, though some delivery paths extend this slightly to keep a download link valid. We don't promise an exact, guaranteed deletion time down to the minute.
Logging
NoBsDL's own application does not log your specific download activity or history beyond what's operationally needed to serve that one request. Separately, the hosting and content-delivery infrastructure we run on keeps its own standard technical access logs (like IP addresses and timestamps), as is normal for any web service — this is an infrastructure-level layer, distinct from what the NoBsDL application itself stores or exposes.
Cookies and sessions
NoBsDL uses cookies or session identifiers where needed to support Supporter access and basic site functionality. We don't use them to build an advertising profile of you.
Your options
If you opted into marketing communications and want to withdraw that consent, or have another question about your data, contact us and we'll act on it.
